About Dr Morten Isnes

High performance should not cost you your health.

I work with driven business owners and professionals who look successful on paper but feel depleted underneath it.

People who are capable, conscientious, and used to carrying responsibility, yet notice their energy, focus, or resilience slipping. Sleep is lighter. Recovery takes longer. Irritation creeps in. Life starts to feel tighter than it should.

My work exists to fix that, properly.

Not with motivation.
Not with hacks.
But by rebuilding the system that performance actually runs on.

Who I am

I’m Dr Morten Isnes, a chiropractor and high-performance coach.

For years, I worked clinically with people who were doing everything “right” but still felt exhausted, tense, and stuck. Business owners, professionals, leaders. Smart people with discipline and ambition, yet bodies and nervous systems that could no longer keep up with the demands placed on them.

What I saw again and again was this:

- They did not lack willpower.
- They lacked capacity.

Their workload had grown faster than their ability to sustain it.

That insight became the foundation of my work today.

My approach

I don’t treat burnout as a motivation problem or a mindset flaw.

Burnout is a systems issue.

When the body, brain, habits, and environment are misaligned, performance becomes expensive. Energy turns fragile. Focus relies on caffeine and pressure. Recovery never quite catches up.

I help clients rebuild capacity from the ground up using a clear, structured framework called The Capacity Code.

This work focuses on six areas that determine how well you can operate under pressure:

  1. Fuel & Nutrition

  2. Move & Strengthen

  3. Mind & Focus

  4. Rest & Recharge

  5. Habits & Identity

  6. Environment & Systems

When these are aligned, energy stabilises, focus sharpens, and effort starts to feel lighter again. Not because life gets easier, but because your system becomes stronger.

What I believe

  • Health is not separate from performance. It underpins it.

  • Discipline fails when systems are poorly designed.

  • You cannot think your way out of a nervous system problem.

  • Sustainable success comes from simplicity, not intensity.

  • High performers need fewer rules, not more.

My role is not to push people harder.
It is to help them function better.

How I work with clients

My work is practical, calm, and grounded in physiology, behaviour, and real life constraints.

No extreme routines.

No guilt-based coaching.

No chasing optimisation for its own sake.

Instead, we focus on:

  • Restoring energy and resilience

  • Reducing hidden drains

  • Building habits that actually stick

  • Designing systems that support work and life, rather than fight them

Clients often tell me they feel clearer, steadier, and more in control within weeks, not because they’re doing more, but because they’re wasting less energy fighting their own system.

Who this work is for

This work is best suited to people who:

  • Carry responsibility for others

  • Care about doing things properly

  • Are open to structure and reflection

  • Want long-term capacity, not short-term fixes

If you’re looking for hype, motivation, or a rigid programme to follow perfectly, this won’t be a fit.

If you want your energy, focus, and health to match the life you’ve built, it usually is.

Take the Next Step

If this way of thinking resonates, the next step is simple.

We’ll look at where your capacity is leaking and whether working together makes sense.

No pressure.

Just clarity.
